Senior Performance Engineer #6338

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

Our customer is a fast-growing startup that provides alternatives to expensive payday loans or racking up high overdraft fees. The convenient mobile app lets you draw small amounts of your paycheck before payday very quickly.

We are looking for an experienced Performance Engineer who will be capable of:

* Developing a performance testing framework for microservices environments in AWS from scratch.

* Defining and proposing performance KPIs and agree with Product Owner.

* Developing an approach of integration Performance Tests with CI\CD.

MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Propose and develop performance testing approaches and tools for the product
• Identify performance KPIs with Product Owner
• Develop Automated Performance scenarios
• Integrate Automated Performance scenarios with CI/CD based on Jenkins
• Develop Report, Monitoring and Alerting for the microservices environment
• Close cooperation with developers, DevOps and PO

EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Experience with one of load generation tools: JMeter, Gatling, Locust, LoadRunner.
• Experience working with log aggregation and analyzing tools (Elastic Stack, Prometheus, Grafana, etc)
• Experience in monitoring cloud-based solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc)
• Scripting - PowerShell, Python, shell, Groovy etc.
• Good English and communication skills

WOULD BE A PLUS

• Docker and orchestration tools
• Experience with HTTP/HTTPS and web services
• Experience with profiling approaches and tools
• C# and .Net core or Java
