Chief Accountant

Paycell is financial company which provides customers financial services and money transfers in national currency, devices on credit as well as payments via electronic money. Paycell established in Ukraine as a subsidiary of lifecell, Ukrainian mobile operator, which is a part of telecommunications group Turkcell.

Job accountability area

Organization and control of the accounting process of revenue, expenses, operating results and company property status, reporting process, tax risks managing process.

Maintaining IFRS accounting in SAP R/3 system, compilation company's financial statements on a monthly basis, preparation of financial reports for the shareholders and Company's management.

Functional Responsibilities:

• Formation of the strategies of revenues, costs, operating results, investments, assets and sources of funding accounting.

• Compilation of company's financial statements on a monthly basis, preparation of financial reports for the shareholders, state authorities and Company's management.

• Organization of the expenses and payments control in accordance with the terms of contracts.

• Formation of the strategy of identifying and liquidation or reducing the effects of tax risks.

• Analysis of current tax legislation, initiating changes to it in order to create favorable conditions for business development.

• Planning and implementation of activity for improving of accounting and reporting processes.

• Organization of the relationships with government regulatory authorities in tax and duty payments area.

• Supporting of internal and external audit of accounting and financial reporting.

• Managing of annual budget and monthly Rolling Forecast processes.

• The development and implementation of management plans regarding efficiency improvement and business development by providing the necessary information as soon as possible.

   

  Requirements:

• Base knowledge of national accounting standards, the practice of application of the Tax Code of Ukraine, the practice of application of International Tax Law, the practice of application of Bank Law (Banking Legislation) and the practice of application of automated accounting systems.

• Certificate on passing the exam of compliance for Chief Accountants of Financial Companies (National Committee on Financial Services).

• Completed ACCA certificate.

• Advanced knowledge of IFRS.

• Education - University degree, Area - Financial/Economical.

• Working experience: 5+ years in the finance area.

• English - upper-intermediate.
