Middle QA/Test Automation Engineer

OVERVIEW

Digital E-Commerce Platform offers a broad range of prepaid gift, telecom and debit cards, in physical and electronic forms, as well as related prepaid products and payment services in the United States and 25 other countries.

You will be a member of a cross-functional team building a Data Lake based on Amazon AWS services for a Business Intelligence of big international company. The team is also building tools for automated configuration of the pipelines, monitoring, managing the metadata, automatic scaling, controlling the access, automatic data reconciliation, etc.

REQUIREMENTS

• 3+ years of experience in manual testing and analysis of requirements, 1+ year experience in QA Automation.
• Desire to improve QA Automation skills to a new level.
• Technical background, strong analytical skills and attention to details.
• Experience in analysis of requirements.
• Knowledge of Java basics.
• Experience in creation of testing documentation.
• Experience in testing reports and UI.
• Experience working with CSV and JSON data formats.
• Good knowledge of SQL.
• Understanding Big Data, Data Lake and cloud computing concepts.
• English level - Intermediate or higher.

WOULD BE A PLUS

• Experience working with TestNG, Amazon AWS SDK & CLI, Allure Test Report.
• Basic DevOps experience: Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes.
• Experience in monitoring tools: Amazon CloudWatch, Splunk.
• Experience working with databases: Redshift, PostgreSQL, MySQL.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Analysis of requirements.
• Filing tickets in bug tracking system.
• Creation of test documentation.
• Automation of tests.
• Troubleshooting data issues in Big Data system.
• Communication with US partners via online conferencing.
• Business trips to California, US for consulting and support of our partners (once in 1-2 years).
