Internal Auditor

INTERNAL AUDITOR

Main responsibilities:

• Planning and execution of internal audits and special projects across all business lines of ARX in Ukraine;
• Support and participation in regional audits of Group;
• Prepare an annual audit plan based on risk and control assessment;
• Develop and update audit programs and checklists;
• Make recommendations for improvement of business processes and controls;
• Present findings and audit recommendations to local management board and Group Audit;
• Ensure that audit recommendations are properly and timely implemented;
• Perform regular audit function reporting to Group Audit;
• Coordinate coverage with external auditors;
• Participate in development of Internal Audit's annual budget and monitor subsequent expenditures.

Requirements:

• At least 3 years' experience in external or internal audit (Big4, other insurance company or multinational company would be an advantage);

Profound understanding of:

• Business processes and operations (preferably in insurance industry)
• System of internal controls
• Accounting / Finance / Tax (IFRS, Ukrainian GAAP);
• Legal & compliance (preferably in Ukrainian insurance sector);
• Risk management (local regulation, key insurance risks);
• Fraud risks & internal controls in key business processes (Sales, Commissions, Underwriting, Claims handling, Finance, IT);
• IT risk management & IT security;
• Fluent English, Russian and Ukrainian languages;
• Strong PC skills (MS Office, 1C (would be an advantage);
