Internal Communications Officer

For our client, an international company, we are looking for an experience Internal Communications Officer.

Scope of responsibilities:

• Support and execute proactive communication initiatives in partnership with HR teams.
• Create and develop messaging around various topics, including company strategy, priorities, and announcements.
• Identify opportunities and execute plans for building company culture.
• Consult with team leads on their communication strategies.
• Build partnerships with key internal stakeholders.
• Be responsible for internal communications activities, PR and event planning, web management, social media
• Produce newsletters and intranet posts and products
• Initiate and launch research and internal polls, feedback and engagement initiatives.

We are seeking a communications and/or HR professional who will enjoy working in a demanding but very varied environment. This role will give you the opportunity to use and develop a wide variety of skills. The selected candidate will be able to work collaboratively with executives and colleagues alike, and consistently deliver high-quality work even under severe time constraints.

Key requirements:

·  5+ years of experience in internal communications/corporate communications  and/or HR/corporate culture with a large international and/or local company

·  Relevant background and education, which may be very varied  

·  Marketing, branding and PR experience will be an asset

·  Experience with events and logistics.

·  Experience working on a team and building cross-functional partnerships.

·  Experience developing and drafting communications

·  Excellent communications and leadership skills

·  Creative storytelling and inventive communication skills

·  Attention to detail, ability to remain flexible and organized in a fast-paced environment

·  Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, and also work collaboratively on a team.
