Oracle E-Business DBA

The Oracle E-Business DBA position in Ukraine/Kiev as part of AMS Global DBA Team, working on site in Areon Offices with remote ability from home for high-importance critical issues or as a duty person foe maintenance tasks

Key Responsibilities:

• DBA and troubleshooting Oracle EBS 11i/R12.2+ versions, including administration and maintenance activities
• Performs test restores of database backups to ensure backups are recoverable in event of failure and/or disaster. Performs RMAN recovery of databases to working systems, including Autoconfig implementation
• Configures and installs 11g/12c Oracle database management systems on Linux and AIX OS servers.
• Provides technical assistance and promotions to developers for database related code and connectivity.
• Reviews database design specifications and pl/sql application coding procedures.
• Periodically supporting after-hours (CET) and on-duty remote assistance when required, including On-Call problem resolution and critical project related activities.
• Ensure compliance with policies for Change and Security management, including SOX compliance and standard database security baselining.
• Ensure compliance with ITIL processes including incident, problem and request management.
• Knowledge with Oracle EBS SYSADMIN responsibilities

Competencies:

• Knowledge of Oracle database backup and recovery procedures, including RMAN or Commvault tools
• Maintenance of 11g Oracle databases , Oracle Real Application Clustering, RMAN, Oracle Enterprise Manager, Demantra and Weblogic 11g/12c
• Working with Oracle database on Linux/AIX operating systems
• Strong experience with Unix shell/perl scripting
• Experience with R12.2 EBS AD utilities.
• Understanding Oracle Weblogic architecture and configuration
• Strong interpersonal relationship building skills to work in Matrix/Global oriented groups with collaborative manner.
• Understanding Audit, GDPR and SOX compliance procedures
• Ability to work independently and without supervision
• Team worker
• Fluent reading and speaking English skills
