Lean management specialist (Continuous Improvement)

Kuehne + Nagel Ukraine is opening a position of Continuous Improvement Specialist within Contract Logistics.

As Continuous Improvement Specialist you will implement our internal continuous improvement strategy (KNPS: Kuehne + Nagel Production System) at our warehouse in Gostomel.

Your tasks and responsibilities:

• implement and maintain continuous improvement techniques and KNPS-tools such as: 5S, visual management, standardization, VSM/VSD
  
• train, coach and support employees at Gostomel warehouse in applying continuous improvement techniques and toolsi
• Identify, lead and facilitate diverse KNPS projects in collaboration with employees from different teams
• actively identify and create the conditions to reach a culture of participation and involvement in which continuous improvement becomes self-evident
• guide and support the team in developing knowledge concerning KNPS and lean thinking
• perform administration linked to continuous improvement such as developing and maintaining training KNPS-manuals, KNPS-documentation, reporting on the progress of the KNPS implementation etc.

Your skills and experience:

• Bachel / Master degree in technical / economics / business field or equal level in thinking and performing by experience
• 2 to 5 years' experience in an operational role, preferably within supply chain environment
• first-hand experience in Lean Six Sigma Tools and methods (e.g. DMAIC), Continuous Improvement and Lean Thinking and eager to become a specialist in these matters
• strong communication skills: being able eager to coach and train people
• being eager to activate and coach people
  
• good (self-) organizing skills and being able to handle a healthy workload
• upper-Intermediate level of English
