Wireless QA Engineer

TOV Ubiquiti Labs Ukraine, which is the filial of the American technology company Ubiquiti Inc, looking for QA Engineer. Ubiquiti Inc is an American technology company started in 2005. Based in New York, NY, Ubiquiti manufactures wireless data communication products for enterprise and wireless broadband providers with a primary focus on under-served and emerging markets.

Requirements:

Knowledge of Wireless protocols (802.11) and L2/L3 networking

2+ years of embedded firmware testing experience on Linux platforms

Experience with bash/shell scripting and/or Python

Knowledge of Jenkins, ability to build and enhance CI system

Understanding of SW development lifecycle and related processes

BS degree in Computer Science, or related engineering degree

Effective written and verbal communication skills (Upper Intermediate English)

Ability to adapt and quickly pick up new technologies, ability to work productively and autonomously

Will be a plus:

Groovy, Jenkins pipelines

Git or other VCS(es)

Experience with OpenWRT

Basic understanding of electronic circuits

Responsibilities:

Candidate will work as part of the global team of firmware, digital hardware and RF hardware engineers to develop cutting edge wireless broadband products and technologies. 

The candidate must possess knowledge of embedded Linux processes and an understanding of digital Wireless communications.
