Senior PHP Engineer (Global Retail Services)

Our client is one of the largest international wholesale and retail operators, with more than 280,000 employees in thirty countries.

DataArt's specialists will develop and modernize a resource planning and management system that stores and updates data on all business processes of suppliers. The solution must support processes whose set is determined by the country of use. The release of the MVP-version with a minimum set of functions for one of the countries of operation should take place in mid-2019.

Note that we hire specialists not to the project, but to one of DataArt's companies. If the project is over, or you become uncomfortable in it, you can discuss a transition to another project.

Responsibilities

• Development: 60% -80% (review of requirements, coding)
  
• Support, bug fixes: 10% -20% (correction of errors within the sprint)
  
• Meeting: 5% -10% (via Skype, Zoom)
  
• Documentation: 0% -2% (description of technical tasks)

Required Skills and Experience

• 5+ years of development experience with PHP
• Web programming experience
• Experience working with multilingual applications
• Solid skills working with and designing databases (MySQL)
• Good communication skills
• Good spoken English

Additional Competences

• Knowledge of JavaScript and its popular frameworks (JQuery etc.)
  
• Experience with ERP systems' development projects
  
• Experience with CMS
  
• Experience working in a distributed team using modern agile processes
