Quality Control Engineer (Test Automation)

Qualifications:

• Good knowledge and understanding of Java;
• Knowledge of OOP concepts;
• Experience in Linux OS;
• Experience and strong skills in automated testing using Java;
• Experience in automation of REST/SOAP services;
• Knowledge of SQL;
• Experience in usage of CI (Jenkins, etc.);
• Knowledge of version control systems (Git);
• Experience in quality practices and testing tools;
• Strong knowledge of different types of testing, focus areas, and testing implementations;
• Experience in writing test documentation;
• Experience in static documentation testing.

Areas of Responsibility:

• Testing interaction of various services within the application (SOAP/REST);
• Requirements documents static testing and ensuring that requirements are met;
• Test cases design;
• Test data preparation;
• Batch jobs testing;
• Performing thorough regression testing;
• Reporting bugs and errors to test management and team.
