Database developer

Job purpose

• DB Developer will be responsible for development/customization for post-paid Billing system, using T-SQL and RDL scripting knowledge
• Senior level is required 2 years' developing experience more and supposed to involving into database solutioning process (architecture design) and performance issues resolving
• DB Developer will be responsible for the appropriate level of errors handling and performance to support high quality software releases into production.

Duties and responsibilities

• Execute development activities using established development process and provide continuous improvement to the process
• Defines application problem; evaluating procedures and processes.
• Develops solution by preparing and evaluating alternative workflow solutions.
• Controls solution by establishing specifications;
• Participate in knowledge transfer, documentation and information sharing
• Analyze customer technology, define gaps in solutioning and participate in risk analysis
• Technical feasibility study and effort estimation
• Assisting preparing tasks for the development team (transforming user stories into functional requirements)

Additional Duties and responsibilities for Senior level

• Stay abreast of on new technology/technical areas and share information about solution to enable development team competence build.
• Assisting for E2E Test process planning
• Detailed Low-Level Design based upon the requirement specification and High-level solution design
• Integration design based upon agreed methodologies
• Verifying delivered Solution including reviews like Code, Peer etc

Skills

• 1 year of experience in T-SQL development
• Advanced understanding and development experience of XML/JSON date types
• Programming Experience: T-SQL and related technologies is mandatory
• Sense of urgency with quality as a key deliverable;
• Knowledge sharing and collaboration skills
• Development experience in JavaScript or С++/C# - as a huge plus
• Domain experience: area of expertise Cloud, BSS, OSS, as a plus, subject matter expertise on operator BSS - as a huge plus
• Good knowledge of SDLC and UML modelling language as a plus
• Knowledge on code reviews as a plus.
• Testing Experience is desired
• English skills are not needed

Additional Skills for Senior level

• 3 years of experience in T-SQL development
• Advanced understanding and development experience of OLAP cubes
• Good knowledge of SDLC and UML modelling language is mandatory
• Knowledge on code reviews is mandatory
• Testing Experience is mandatory
• Experience as DB Architect as a huge plus

Education

• University degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience in a related discipline

• Business Hours - Monday-Friday
