Construction Engineer

HALO Trust - Ukraine -is looking for highly qualified, motivated and experienced Ukrainian professional for the position of Construction Engineer with its Office in Kyiv (30 %) / Ivano- Frankivsk (70%),  for one year contract with possibility to extend for one year or more according to the good performance.

Tasks and Responsibilities

The incumbent provides support and ensures execution and supervision of the construction projects in all locations. Particularly performs the following duties:

Preparation of bills of quantities, quotation, cost estimation, method of statements and other technical documentation used for construction projects implementation;

Provides an engineering assessment as a member of a Tender Evaluation Committee for the contractors' submittals for the construction;

Providing technical expertise, keeping control of construction/reconstruction of building facilities and warehouses, supervision of ongoing construction projects.

Ensure that all parties undertake their duties in accordance with the current/relevant Health and Safety Legislation and Contractor's Health and Safety Plan; Performing other duties as required by supervisor.

Necessary Qualifications

A first level University degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture;

Minimum 10 years of experience in construction, supervision and management of industrial buildings and infrastructure projects,

Fluent in English language;

Ability to deploy to remote locations on short notice for limited duration;

Computer literate with practical experience in Microsoft Office applications and AutoCAD, familiar with Microsoft Project and Primavera;

Have a valid driving license.
