Manager M&A Tax

M&A Tax group is a part of KPMG Tax & Legal department. We assist investors in identifying, assessing and quantifying historic tax risks for the companies, which the investors consider acquiring. We advise on how the identified historic tax risks for such companies can affect the deal price as well as whether and how these tax risks may be addressed before and/ or after the deal to ensure maximum protection of the investors. We also develop and advise on tax efficient structures for our clients to acquire/ sell Ukrainian businesses and repatriate profits from Ukraine.

Responsibilities:

• Working closely with directors and partners who will provide you with the support and opportunities to assist you in realizing your full potential
• Working closely with the financial and legal M&A teams to provide full-scope support to clients.
• Managing international and local M&A tax engagements
• International and local corporate tax advisory and corporate restructurings
• Developing innovative solutions and opportunities for our clients
• Building up long-term relationships with existing and prospective clients
• Billing and monitoring of fee collection
• Coaching and developing junior staff members
• Participating in marketing and business development activities
• Developing and expanding the M&A tax practice of KPMG in Ukraine

Requirements:

• university Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting and Audit or Taxation;
• strong knowledge of accounting (Ukrainian National Standards and/ or IFRS);
• strong knowledge of the Ukrainian tax legislation;
• at least 5 years of accounting/ financial/ tax experience (experience within Big4 or other consulting companies will be a plus);
• Excellent communication skills (English, Ukrainian and Russian)
