DevOps Engineer

Opening for Senior Application Developer with DevSecOps orientation, who dreams to work for a world-class Cloud Enterprise product employing top-notch modern technologies.

We are looking for a candidate with experience in modern cloud computing technologies staying with trends/concepts to help design and develop an architecture including infrastructure for tomorrow. Ensure that our developers can efficiently and safely test their changes and put them in production, with needed infrastructure and software provisioning in place through CI/CD pipeline logging and metrics to ensure proper behavior of our complex service architecture.

Technical skills :

Ideally we would like the future candidate to have the below mentioned skills, but we are flexible to pursue an interview with a combination of the below mentioned skills and not all mandatory. Important is to have the mindset.

• At least 3 years of experience deploying infrastructure/software with detail understanding of architecture and supporting/maintaining  a complex service-oriented system
• At least 2 years as a developer with the ability to better understand developers' needs and how to address them
• Solid hand-on skills with Kubernetes
• Understand the CI/CD principal. Staging, CI servers, auto-deploy tools, unit testing and code coverage tools, both for .NET and web applications. Tools/Scripting - Jenkins, Blue Ocean
• Data-driven: Knowing how to collect data, such as service or infrastructure metrics, and analyze and act on them. Hands on with log visualization and monitoring tools like Elastic Stack (Kibana, Grafana, Prometheus) and Rsyslog
• Solid knowledge on Linux OS (RedHat preferably) or comparable OS (yum,repos,resources,limits,systemd,utilities,networking,rpm-build,etc.)
• Network configuration skills and knowledge (firewall, DNS, DHCP, VLAN)
• Network troubleshooting advanced skills (utilities and protocols)
• Good development skills - terraform, java, python, ruby, shell
• Hands on with orchestration and configuration management tools expertise (Chef, Puppet, Ansible, etc.). 
• Secure Identity Management means and protocols (SAML, LDAP, etc.), understanding the principals, configuration and troubleshooting
• NGINX upper-intermediate knowledge, experience of implementing complex configuring solutions and troubleshooting
• Oracle Database moderate user skills
• SQL advanced skills
• SQL scripting off hands
• In-depth understanding different open-source tools and technologies (the more the better, we use many)
• Understanding on Security 

Responsibility :

Your day to day activities will look like following and not limited to :

• Contribute in developing and testing of deployment related code (infrastructure and software)
• Contribute in developing the CI/CD pipeline for all product components - develop automation in CI and deployment scripts for the pipeline
• Manage and support existing resources (hardware, tools, code-base, etc)
• Create and configure new versatile environments for DEV/QA and PROD purposes
• Work with developers to improve deployment processes
• Do troubleshoot and finding resolutions to complex technical problems across multiple tiers (web servers, application servers, database, search cluster, integration, automation platform)
• Provide and maintaining technical documentation
