What KOTRA does?

The Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) is a state-funded trade and investment promotion organization, which was established in 1962. Since then, it has successfully facilitated Korea's rapid economic development through various trade promotion activities such as overseas market surveys, SME export promotion, trade info services, foreign investment in Korea, and business matchmaking.

Our office, KOTRA Kyiv, is one of the KOTRA's 125 overseas branches and has been engaging the Ukrainian business community since 1998. Also, KOTRA Kyiv has performed the function as the commercial section of the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Ukraine.

Now we are looking for a Market Research & Project Specialist.

Job Brief

The position unites several vital functions for Korean business development in Ukraine. You will support numerous Korean companies coming to Ukraine for B2B or G2G meetings, conferences, business trips, and project development. In this regard, the candidate should fluently speak English and prepare consistent Market Overviews for foreign clients planning to expand in Ukraine.

The candidate will directly work on main projects and develop the business in energy, healthcare, IT etc. This job requires consistent communication with clients.

Responsibilities

• Business Development and Mentoring for Korean companies;
• Provide Project Support and Development in various fields;
• Execute Market Research for Korean business;
• Cooperate with the Korean and Ukrainian companies;
• Cooperate with international financial institutions, Ministries, and NGO's;
• Contribute to the intergovernmental working group, represent Korean business;
• Operate CRM;
• Control other issues related to business development;

Requirements

• Master's in economics, business, or trade is preferable;
• Proven experience in Project Management, Business Development, or Research;
• Thorough understanding of project management and coordination;
• Excellent Knowledge of reposts & research preparation;
• Excellent communication and event planning skills;
• Excellent problem-solving ability;
• Fluent written and spoken English, Ukrainian, Russian. Korean is a plus;
• Experience abroad is a plus due to a multicultural team;
