Senior Tax Consultant, International Corporate Tax Group

KPMG has a team of highly-qualified tax consultants and lawyers with in-depth knowledge of frequently changing Ukrainian legislation. We also advise our clients on tax disputes and tax authorities' stance on various issues.

Responsibilities:

• prepare tax advice on international and domestic tax issues, including international holding and financing structures, profit repatriation, transfer pricing issues, etc.
• establish contacts and keep correspondence with other KPMG offices
• under the manager's supervision draft proposals and responses to clients' requests preparation
• supervise and coach junior staff (share experience and provide clear instructions and timely feedback)
• participate in client meetings and conference calls
• report to a manager on the progress with client engagements

Requirements:

• minimum 3 years of experience as a (senior) tax consultant (preferably in Big 4 or large international or local law firms)
• good knowledge of international taxation (double tax treaties, EU tax directives, etc.)
• good knowledge of the Ukrainian tax laws and the Tax Code
• experience with advising clients on tax efficient international business structures, profit repatriation, permanent establishment risk, etc.
• good command of English spoken and written (Advanced+)
• knowledge of Ukrainian accounting standards and/or IFRS is a plus
• university degree in Law, Taxation or Economics (completed studies)
• studies (e.g., LLM) in a recognized foreign university/college is a plus
• ability to supervise multiple projects at any one time
