Sales Executive (Road Logistics)

Job description

Based at our office in Kyiv you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with our customers. You will have clear targets for acquiring new customers as well as the freedom to make your own decisions about how to achieve them. You will be a reliable partner for our customers and ensure the commercial success of Kuehne+Nagel.

Your tasks and responsibilities

• You will acquire new customers and provide a convincing presentation of our comprehensive product portfolio
• You will work on quotations, prepare customer presentations and ensure the required documentation is provided
• You will collaborate with internal and operational departments on a professional and constructive basis to achieve shared goals
• You will provide guidance on implementing new business, acting as a reliable coordination point for all contacts
• You will secure customer loyalty by presenting our high-quality products and services in a persuasive, convincing manner

Your skills and experience

• minimum 2 years experience in sales
• a sound knowledge of logistics, freight forwarding or shipping, ideally specialist knowledge of land transportation
• a reliable, trustworthy and serious demeanor
• excellent negotiating and closure skills
• the ability to work on your own initiative and in a highly organized way;
• a good knowledge of spoken and written English;
• very good computer skills, particularly MS Office.
