Medical Science Liaison

SANOFI UKRAINE, one of the leading pharmaceutical companies, announces the position of Medical Science Liaison, Genzyme Business Unit (rare diseases).

JOB PURPOSE:

To apply medical and scientific (non-promotional) expertise on the company portfolio to educate Health Care professionals (HCPs)

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• To identify, develop and maintain collaborative relationships with current and future leaders within the disease area;
• To interact with local, regional opinion leaders, and other HCPs to help generate understanding of Sanofi products;
• To coordinate local advisory boards, and local insight gathering;
• To prepare and/or contributes as appropriate to the initial and ongoing medical/scientific disease area and product-specific trainings;
• To facilitate contact and collaborations with KOLs;
• To provides unsolicited scientific (non-promotional) information on therapies in development to HCPs;

 

REQUIREMENTS:

• University degree in (Medical) Life sciences, Scientific degree (PhD) preferred;
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in a healthcare/pharmaceutical environment (e.g. providing disease awareness education to hospital specialists);
• Specific disease area knowledge is preferred;

• English Upper-Intermediate;
• Proficient in public speaking;
• Copes well with ambiguity and is flexible;
• Analytical whilst able to retain a broad perspective;
• Intercultural savvy
