Clinic Coordinator/Interpreter

Doctor Sam is a network of private clinics dedicated to providing 24-hour convenient and qualified medical care for adults and children, in line with international standards of treatment quality and service.

We're currently looking for qualified candidates to fill the position of the Clinic Coordinator/Interpreter

Job summary:

Clinic Coordinator/Interpreter is responsible for establishing and maintaining productive relationships between the clinic and international patients. He/she provides language and informational support, insurance management and patient billing, handles complaints and manages queries.

This position will be based in Kyiv, 20 Drahomyrova Street.

Main Requirements:

• Advanced/fluent English is a must; Fluent Russian/Ukrainian is a must;
• Minimum 1-year experience working in customer service or as an interpreter/translator;
• Excellent communicational and listening skills;
• Strong customer service skills;
• Knowledge of basic medical terminology is preferred;
• Professional appearance and strong work ethic;
• Ability to work independently, responsibility, problem-solving skills;
• Exceptional attention to details, organizational skills;
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task;

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing effective interaction between international patients and medical&administrative staff
• Providing information on medical services in a professional and friendly manner
• Assisting international patients with:
• making appointments
• confirming appointments and rescheduling when necessary
• referral processing and other follow-up scheduling processes
• Attending medical appointments to provide interpreting and translation services
• Translation of documents (medical reports/lab tests/diagnostics reports/prescriptions/other texts for PR and marketing departments)
• Client billing and conducting claim settlement procedures on the entry-level: filling out claim forms, verification of insurance coverage and eligibility, proofreading medical reports, etc.
• Working in Electronic Health System (Doctor Eleks)
• Managing special projects if needed

Work schedule:

Job training (1 week): Monday-Friday (2-3 hours a day)

Regular schedule: 09.00 am. - 06.00 pm.

Overtime is sometimes required due to patients' appointments before 9:00 am. or after 6:00 pm.; doubled compensatory hours are offered for extra hours worked.
