Feel Game Designer (UE4)

Game development studio 4A Games Ukraine is looking for Feel Game Designer to join our team to take part in development of unannounced multiplatform AAA shooter (PC/Consoles).

Responsibilities

Feel Game Designer's key responsibility will be to create and integrate new game scenes, story sketches, “frozen stories” in order to keep and increase “atmosphere”:

• Creating ideas, storyboards, animatics for games scenes and “frozen stories”.
• Creating prototypes of scene in game engine.
• Collaboration with other departments in scene mastering to “cinematography” quality.
• Collaboration on game scenario development.
• Participating in the improvement of the game development processes and toolkit.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in game development or cinematography industry as scene director, operator, etc.
• Understanding of scene creation basic principles:
  • positioning of actors and objects
  • use of lighting, effects and sounds for creation of necessary accents
  • direction and speed of camera movement
• Ability to create “atmosphere” in chosen style considering time limitations.
• Experience with at least one of the major game engines (UE4/CryEngine/Unity/etc.).
• Ability to describe a concept clearly and in detail, both verbally and in writing.
