IT Support Engineer

We welcome an IT Support Engineer to join our IT Service Center department. We have a great professional team, and we are pleased to invite a specialist with solid experience and a friendly personality. 

REQUIREMENTS

• At least 2-3 years’ experience in a similar position
• Strong knowledge of Windows 10 (7, 8.1 will be a plus)
• Basic knowledge of macOS and Ubuntu
• Experience in Windows Server 2012 R2, 2016 and Linux (CentOS/RedHat, Debian) administration will be a plus
• Knowledge of computer components, peripherals, network equipment
• Knowledge of principles and methods of networking
• Intermediate level of English

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare workplaces for new users (standard PC, laptop)
• Choose workstation configurations, buy workstations and peripheral devices
• Perform installation and configuration procedures
• Provide user support (daily issues)
• Handle warranty repair
• Upgrade hardware and software
• Replace and maintain cartridges and laptop batteries, maintain office hardware
• Install and configure network equipment, commission new facilities
• Register equipment (hardware, software)
• Work with documentation (warranty, accounting)
• Prepare manuals for setting up and using the software
• Participate in system recovery after crashes and malfunction of hardware
• Participate in the development of proposals regarding modernization and purchase of hardware
• Perform other activities for maintenance and development of infrastructure
