Compliance, Legal Officer

We are looking for a compliance/legal officer to join our friendly team.

Responsibilities:

• Taking care of all internal legal and compliance issues of the Ukrainian office of our international firm — either independently or involving junior lawyers of our firm
• Adapting all internal legal documents of our Ukrainian office to requirements of our global legal department once respective changes are required
• Taking care of AML issues of provision of legal services (such person will be appointed as AML officer and will be registered so with the Ministry of Justice)

What we are looking for in our candidate:

• At least 5 years of legal experience (within full-time employment) either in a law firm or as in-house lawyer;
• Fluent written and oral English (most of work requires communication in English between offices in different countries of our firm, especially with our global legal department);
• AML experience would be a huge plus;
• Strong analytical and research skills, pro-active approach towards problem solving.
