International lawyer (corporate, banking and licensing matters)

We are looking for a talented and hard-working colleague to join our team in the position of In-house legal counsel on corporate, banking and licensing matters.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
 - Law degree from reputable Ukrainian university, international LL.M degree is a plus;

- Exceptional writing and editing skills in English, Russian and Ukrainian;

- Advanced English is a must;

- 3 + years of professional experience in IT, FinTech, Banking & Finance, Corporate, E-Commerce, Compliance and/or Tax Planning; 

- Knowledge of international corporate, AML/KYC, banking, finance and currency regulations;

- Success experience in offshore and onshore corporate structuring and legal entities administration; 

- Success experience in bank accounts opening in different jurisdictions;

- Success experience in obtainment of financial, digital payments and alike licenses is an advantage;

- Ability to understand and analyze sophisticated fact patterns and legal concepts;
 - A desire to be working for a truly challenging landscape and delve into areas of law which may not have previous precedents or lead on examples;
 - Must be highly motivated, a self-starter and keen to take responsibility and manage swiftly between demanding deadlines:

- Confident PC user (solid technical skills of Microsoft Office Suite);

- Confident user of legal databases (Liga, Lexis Nexis Juris Classeur, Westlaw International, vLex etc.). 

 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
 - Registration of legal entities in different jurisdictions and bank accounts opening;

- Legal support with AML, KYC, antifraud and related compliance procedures;

- Legal support with obtainment of various financial, digital payments and alike licenses;

- Draft and review of various contract and corporate documentation;  
 - Legal support during commercial negotiations with customers and suppliers; 

- Work with various E-Commerce documentation, including privacy policies, terms of service and other relevant website documentation;

- Draft, review and update of company policies and internal documentation; 

- Legal support with legal risks detection and management thereof;

- Monitoring of changes in relevant legislation and regulatory environments, assessing impact on business and appropriate legal actions implementation;

- Cooperation with external legal advisers, when specific proficiency and expertise are required;

- Day-to-day legal support of company’s business matters.
