ABOUT THE FINANCE DEPARTMENT  

We cooperate strongly as a team, working with all the departments in the company and making sure that all the companies in the Eurosender group are well taken care of finance- and accounting-wise. 

We are currently a team of 6 experienced professionals (5 in Slovenia, 1 in Kyiv), looking for someone to support us with day-to-day operations. We offer a lot of opportunities for learning and professional development in various areas connected to accounting and finance.  

RESPONSIBILITIES WE WILL TRUST YOU WITH   

• Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded, 
• update accounts receivable and issue invoices (ACTs), 
• update accounts payable and perform reconciliations, 
• assist with reviewing of expenses, payroll records etc. as assigned, 
• update financial data, ensuring that financial transactions are properly recorded, 
• assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements, 
• participation with the preparation of local income tax and VAT returns, 
• prepare and submit weekly / monthly reports for the HQ, 
• participate (together with senior accountants) in the preparation of monthly / yearly closings, 
• support other departments for all accounting matters, 
• assist with other accounting projects. 

SKILLS WE WOULD LIKE YOU TO BRING TO THE TEAM

• Fluent in English (written and spoken), 
• proven experience (2+ years) as an accountant, 
• great attention to detail, 
• excellent knowledge of MS Office, Excel, 
• high levels of professionalism, energy, creativity and flexibility, 
• strong desire for acquiring new knowledge and cultivating growth, 
• ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, 
• ability to operate in a global matrix environment.
