 What you will be doing as a Financial Analyst ?

The core focus of this role is to work alongside commercial leaders in order to understand financial performance, conduct analysis and provide insights for effective decision making. In this role, Financial Analyst will play a key part in collecting and synthesizing information as well as establishing alignment with other functions and work on implementing changes.

What you will do:

• Oversee quality of business segment’s P&L (both financial and commercial) and ensure its consistency across the organization;
• Use financial analysis and business knowledge to identify opportunities for optimization of operating results and working capital;
• Participate in month-end closing procedures;
• Manage monthly rolling forecasting processes for business segment (i.e. from gathering information till presenting outcomes to senior management);
• Prepare analytical reports and presentations for senior management; suggest necessary improvements and remedy actions, if required;
• Support continuous improvement of rolling forecast and financial model’s accuracy
• Participate in projects to streamline, automate, improve efficiency and cost competitiveness of internal process;
• Build and maintain effective communications and business partnerships across organization.

What is required from you:

• 3 years of relevant experience as a financial analyst or in a similar role, preferably in an international company
• Working knowledge of Accounting, Financial Management and Financial Analysis procedures;
• Working knowledge of financial modeling;
• Good problem-solving skills (analytic capacity, logical reasoning, creativity);
• Ability to work in dynamic environment and achieve results (tolerance of ambiguity, ability to prioritize, desire to work in teams, energetic and results oriented);
• Strong interpersonal skills (open communication style, able to listen, confident, honest and responsible)
• Computer literacy: MS Excel (advanced level is a must), experience with SAP ERP is a plus;
• English – upper-intermediate (B2) 

The position is based in Kiev and part of a Financial Analysis team of 6 people. It will report to our Financial Planning & Analysis Manager, also located in Kiev.
