Procurement specialist

DP World is a global logistics company with headquarters located in Dubai (UAE). It specialises in cargo logistics, port terminal operations, maritime services and free trade zones. DP World handles 70 million containers that are brought in by around 70,000 vessels annually.

We are looking for Procurement specialist to join our team!

The ideal candidate? will be responsible for activity and ?for ensuring optimal supplier performance and price. 
Take ownership of the purchasing, guidelines and any associated documents. 
Negotiate contract terms with key suppliers to ensure value for money, quality standards and delivery terms with technical and operational input from stakeholders if appropriate.

Responsibilities:

• conducting and documenting trades on electronic trading platforms;
• conducting contractual activities with suppliers;
• organization of uninterrupted supplies;
• control of mutual settlements with suppliers.

Qualifications:

• higher education;
• 5+ years of experience in procurement;
• understanding of the principles of procurement in the industrial sector, mainly in companies with foreign capital;
• experience in import purchases;
• English — Upper-intermediate.
