Automation (Web) Senior Engineer #10289

MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Contribute in API automation solution/framework (extend and evolve) — Kotlin language
• Design and execute API/UI automation tests
• Participate in refinement/grooming process, starting to contribute as Quality engineer from the moment of requirement appearance till the moment functionality is fully done and covered by auto tests
• Take the responsibility of quality for part of the product owned by team
• Work on the Test and Automation plans for the future functionality
• Implement and extend the UI automation solution for Web Application
• Be responsible for overall test code quality by implementing best practices for code creation and review
• Make status and quality reporting
• Work with strong cooperation with RnD team and customer

EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Must:

• Understanding and experience in REST API testing and automation (2+ year)
• Web Applications testing experience (2+ year)
• Knowledge of OOP, design concepts and automation patterns
• Practical experience with creating automation tests using Java/Kotlin — or willing to switch to Java/Kotlin from another languages (C#, Python and so on)
• CI tooling experience (GIT, Jenkins)
• Practical experience with Selenium/Selenoid or other UI automation tool
• Knowledge of main principles of performance testing
• Knowledge of QA methodologies and processes (Agile teams)
• Intermediate+ English (reading/writing/speaking skills)

Considered as a big plus:
• Microservice architecture knowledge and experience of testing
• Experience working with containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud
• Experience with BDD approach
• Scripting experience (bash, shell, PowerShell)
• Allure/Allure Test Ops
• Experience working with PostgreSQL
• Experience working with gRPC based testing

Nice to have:
• Familiarity and practical experience of Performance automation tools (JMeter, Gatling, Locust or similar)
