Purpose of the job:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Research and suggest the best possible ways to achieve the business needs
• Work with scrum team to Deliver high quality content
• Manage SQL Server databases
• Configure and maintain database servers and processes
• Monitor system's health and performance
• Ensure high levels of performance, availability, sustainability and security
• Provide suggestions for solutions
• Assist developers with query tuning and schema refinement
• Refine and automate regular processes

EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

MUST HAVE:

• 3+ years of commercial experience as a SQL Server DBA or Data Engineer
• Strong knowledge of MS SQL including stored procedures and triggers
• Experience with DB Performance Tuning and Optimization (PTO)
• Skills in High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options for SQL Server
• Proven skills in ETL data pipelines (SSIS or similar)
• Problem solving abilities, fast research and learning skills
• Sufficient English level for communication (verbal and written)
• Good communication and collaboration skills
• Proactivity

WOULD BE A PLUS:

• Experience in .NET development
