Chief Accountant (with Financial Controller function)

Our client is Zoetis Ukraine, a part of American drug company Zoetis Inc., the world's largest producer of medicine and vaccinations for pets and livestock. The company was a subsidiary of Pfizer and now it is a completely independent company.

We are looking for Chief Accountant (with Financial Controller function)

Responsibilities:

• Timely and accurate local tax and accounting reporting. The accounting activities are supported by Shared Services Center allocated abroad;
• Supervising all corporate reporting in accordance with US GAAP done by Shared Services Center;
• Coordination with Shared Services Center to ensure the financial reporting in accordance with US GAAP, local statutory accounting standards, Zoetis policies and procedures and all applicable laws and regulations;
• Manage annual audit reviews by the external auditors and tax audit from Ukraine tax authorities;
• Ensure and manage efficient maintenance of all contractual and other documents and records.
• Provide timely and accurate delivery of all financial results and forecasts enabling to manage the business
• Forecasts, budgets and reports consistency and accuracy for all P&L lines.
• Ongoing proactive finance advise on a daily basis
• Provide value added finance support to Business partners to enable them to run business effectively and monitor results

Skills:

• Finance graduate, preferred qualified accountant
• Minimum 5 years experience in an international company
• Very good knowledge and practical experience in Ukrainian accounting and taxation
• Very good knowledge and practical experience in international accounting and reporting
• Strong communication skills
• SAP, Essbase, HFM knowledge
• Fluent English is required
