Manager, Packaging Development, R&D

For our client, a large national production company (FMCG, food), we are looking for candidates to join the regional R&D function as Manager, Packaging Development.

Key functions:

• Leadership of new packaging development within the whole portfolio.
• Ensuring proficient delivery of packaging related projects.
• Co-piloting of innovation pipeline fulfilment and realization.
• Innovation pipeline fulfillment .
• Trends scanning, innovation sweet spots identification with further implementation.
• Packaging efficiency pipeline fulfilment and realization, ensuring target amount of savings delivery and P&L impact.
• Packaging sustainability roadmap creation and realization, ensuring packaging. environmental impact minimization and company`s sustainability commitments achievement.
• Co-piloting packaging sourcing strategy creation, suppliers` development to achieve target supply security.
• Packaging budget management
• Participation in new components trials, first batches acceptance, suppliers auditing.
• Communication of projects statuses to all executors.
• Preparation of documents required for decision-making.
• Responsibility for NPD process.
• Planning and controlling of project budget

Key requirements:

• University degree
• Prior experience in packaging for food industry, including responsibility for packaging development and innovations.
• Proven successful projects in packaging development 
• Experience with either national or international companies
• Desire to develop new projects within R&D function
• Project management experience, including work planning, tasks allocation, project schedule preparation, project tracking and tasks accomplishment control experience.
  Good communications skills, critical thinking and ability to identify risks
• Team player.
• Good English, in addition to Ukrainian and Russian.
