Product Designer (Fintech)

We are looking for Product Designers who can revolutionize the way millions of people pay around the world. For this role, you will partner directly with our product and project managers to understand customer behavior and deliver best-in-class user experiences within our’s platform. You will be working on one of the affiliated products and services powered by us.

You will be responsible for providing a product team’s user experience needs, including Visual Design, Interaction Design, Information Architecture, Writing, Quantitative and Qualitative Research and Analysis, and Prototyping.

To succeed in this role, you need to be a creative thinker and a problem-solver dedicated to putting the user first by delivering a product that is easy and enjoyable to use.

Responsibilities:

• Design flows and experiences that are simple, effective, and stylish;
• Contribute to high-level strategic decisions with the rest of the product and executive teams;
• Work with engineers and product and project managers to define both the long-term strategy and short-term tactics for our products;
• Work closely with designers on your team to develop and expand product design systems;
• Participate in design reviews and share your work regularly with the design team and company leadership;
• Take broad, conceptual ideas and turn them into something useful and valuable for the target users;
• Partner with Product Managers, engineers, researchers, and content strategists to oversee the user experience of a product from conception until launch.

Skills & Competencies Required:

• Must have at least 5 years of experience using design system patterns to create engaging, multi-platform user experiences; experience creating experiences;
• At least 3 years experience in UI/UX Design a tech product company is preferred;
• Has a solid understanding of front-end programming;
• Has worked in an agile software development environment working on/with cross-functional teams to deliver a product user experience;
• At least 3 years of application design experience;
• At least 3 years of visual design experience;
• At least 3 years of interaction design experience;
• At least 3 years of strategic product thinking and vision experience;
• Bachelor’s Degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, technology or a relevant field of study or equivalent experience;
• Fluent in English and is able to able to effectively communicate design thinking and product strategy with the team and stakeholders that deliver upon business outcomes
• Provide a link to your online portfolio or sample work.
