Test Automation Engineer

Your tasks and responsibilities:

• You will be responsible for developing procedures for configuring, installing, and diagnosing computer hardware as a component of medical systems. The goal is the test automation of special medical image systems based on high-end PC technology
• Your main responsibility is development of Test Automation SW. This includes all steps from test concept, planning of modular work packages, to documenting of the test results
• Testing SW is written in Python in majority of cases, but your understanding of C/C++ programming for Windows/Linux is your big advantage
• In your daily work you will use network technology e.g. HTTP, DHCP, FTP etc.

Your qualifications and experience:

• You have successfully completed bachelor's degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or comparable area. You can be a last-year student.
• You have skills in assembling, testing, installing SW and repairing PCs (desktops, laptops, ...), and you understand modern PC technology - CPU, GPU, BIOS, memory, interfaces.
• You know Python and know how to use it for testing
• You have already gained experience in testing (test concept development, test planning, implementation of test software, execution, optimization, automation)
• You know how to use modern network devices and technologies – managed switches (VLAN), routing firewalls
• You have basic understanding of data processing / database-oriented approach (SQL, Python-Django, statistics) for test results analysis

• You will work in an international environment with your colleagues from Germany and Ukraine, so you will need speak and write technical documentation in English from the very first day. Your ability to communicate is more important than deep knowledge of English which you can improve very fast at work.
