Senior Java Developer (can be remotely)

DevCom is looking for a  Senior Java Developer

Responsibilities:

• to develop and deliver new features and support tasks on the project - on time and of good quality;
• to perform code review;
• to implement unit tests;
• to communicate and cooperate with other team members and with the client (with the client's part of the team as well);
• to prepare technical documentation for ongoing tasks and modules, when necessary;
• to lead and mentor some younger team members, when necessary;
• if necessary (in rare cases), to perform testing or troubleshooting of critically important and/or problematic places in the project (to assist the QA team in a problematic situation or to reproduce critical production issues);
• to help PM to introduce Test Driven Development (TDD) on the project;
• to assist an Architect in the system design of complex modules and re-design/re-factoring preparations (when necessary).

Required Skills: 

• MySQL, 
• Java 8, 
• Tomcat 8, 
• Apache Tapestry 5.4, 
• Spring Framework, 
• HTML 5 / CSS 3, 
• Maven 
• Intermediate or better level of English (written and conversational) 
• Software architect experience
