Head of Production Ukraine

At the moment we are searching for a Head of Production in Kamianet's- Podil's'kii.

Key responsibilities:

• Steering & Supervision of the certified corn & sunflower seed production in Ukraine including all relevant process steps (Planning, Field Multiplication, Seed Processing);
• Budgeting and cost control for all seed production relevant activities;
• Supervision of the investment planning for seed production related areas and monitoring the development of investment projects;
• Constant review of production capacities (field & plant) and participation in developing the mid & long-term production strategy in accordance with the overall seed production strategy of the BU Corn Europe;
• Constant development of processes and structures in/for the assigned areas and activities; identifying process gaps and initiate counter measures;
• Regular reporting about recent developments in the areas of responsibility along the reporting lines;
• Close exchange with the internal stakeholders (e.g. sales and logistic responsible; portfolio management, etc.):
• Participation in cross-national/cross-regional working groups within KWS.

Requirements:

• Higher education , preferably in agriculture;
• Experiences in breeding and/or seed production;
• Agricultural expertise;
• Knowledge of seed trade legislation (seeds certification and official registration);
• Knowledge in management of  complex structures;
• Flluent English.
