Job Description

A USA project in the Social Networks sector, targeting in development of website community that hosts botanical collections with customized tools for documenting, organizing, mapping, tagging and sharing information about plants.

About the project

Development of brand-new token solution based on Blockchain, and integration of this solution to the existing  Web Platform and to the token operating platforms. Development and support of the existing web-platform (technologies and integrations: Angular, Ruby, Stripe, ElasticSearch, Amazon Services).

Responsibilities:

• Collect requirements, create overall vision of the product & create detailed product specifications, create and help to plan backlog for sprints, ensuring that business requirements have been met
• Share the general vision of possible new features that could help to improve the product
• Understand the needs of Customer regarding the required trends of the product development and transfer them to team
• Clarifying use cases and scenarios on demand during product development, ensuring any blockers are understood, and proposing alternate solutions when necessary
• Participating in business testing of interim releases and giving feedback to the development teams
• Reporting of the status on daily stand-ups, arranging and prioritizing tasks according to the Sprint delivery needs

Qualifications

• 4+ years of relevant experience
• Bachelor or MSc degree in computer science
• Experience in Blockchain, tokens & smart contracts is a plus!
• Familiarity with web, desktop, and mobile software architecture principles
• In-depth experience with identifying and understanding user and business needs and behaviors in both B2B and B2C environments
• Experience in business, systems, and engineering process modeling, creating mock-ups.
• Experience with analyzing the operational flow of existing products and identifying areas in need of improvement
• Collaboration skills and a proven ability to work with domain and technical experts to understand problems and suggest solutions
• Experience with a broad range of methods and tools, including use cases, user stories, process models, data models, and scenarios
• Leadership skills and willingness to take a proactive stance
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work within strict timeframe and meet deadlines
• Experience in working with Scrum/Agile approaches, Jira, knowledge of standard project delivery procedures, SDLC, and processing of tickets between BA, development and testing team
• Team player, excellent communication & presentation skills, positive attitude
