Level Game Designer (UE4)

Game development studio 4A Games Ukraine is looking for Level Designer to join our team to take part in development of unannounced multiplatform AAA shooter (PC/Consoles).

 Responsibilities

The key responsibility of the Level Designer will be creation of level locations and integration of various game mechanics, including:

• Creation of ideas for level and locations.
• Development of level and locations in Unreal Engine 4 with blueprint visual scripting.
• Managing and tuning combat and story/scene encounters.
• Participation in the process of creation of new game mechanics (AI/level/scenes).
• Participation in the process of game world and story detailing and improvement.
• Participation in the process of improving the game development toolkit.

 Requirements

• Experience with Unreal Engine 4/5.
• Work experience on game/level designer position at least one year.
• Ability to describe a concept clearly and in detail, both verbally and in writing.
• 5+ years of gaming experience.

Preferences

• Experience with various game engines (UE4/CryEngine/Unity/etc).
• Experience with consoles.
• Ability to work with documentation in English.
• Released project.
• Passion for games.
