Database Administrator

IT Craft is looking for a Database Administrator who will join several projects where the help of a qualified DBA is needed. A future employee will improve the current database architecture, provide new setup and further support.

Requirements:

• 2-5 years of commercial development experience;
• Solid development experience in working with SQL Server;
• Experience in designing schemas of high-load relational database management systems (RDBMS);
• Understanding of ETL, Database Replication, T-SQL;
• Knowledge of Ad-hoc SQL queries;
• Knowledge of NoSQL databases (MongoDB), strong understanding of execution plans;
• Knowledge of High Availability and Disaster Recovery;
• Experience with Performance Tuning and Query Optimization;
• Experience with backups, restores and recovery models;
• Experience with Azure in SQL/Azure SQL Instance and Amazon RDS will be a good plus;
• Knowledge of SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) is beneficial;
• At least Intermediate level of spoken and written English.
