Timac Agro International subsidiary of the Roullier Group, is an expert in plant and animal nutrition. Now present in over 42 countries throughout the world, Timac Agro manufactures and commercializes fertilizers and nutritional specialties for crops and animals.
It is a key player in the international agribusiness market and has an opportunity for you to work on the growth of existing markets and develop new markets with high potential. We are now looking for an Economist for financial work.
About the role:
This role requires an ambitious and dedicated individual with experience in financial management reporting. This person will demonstrate high-quality work within tight timeframes, thrive in the details, and enjoy the challenge of analyzing technical accounting matters.
Responsibilities:
- Preparation of monthly and year-end financial statement of financial result, P&L, Cash flow, creditors, debtors, depreciation, prepayments, and management reporting per Group requirements;
- Intercompany reconciliations, gross margin control;
- Payments authorization, optimization of operating expenses;
- Control monthly forecast in line with defined processes. Monitor the achievement of financial objectives;
- Preparation of the monthly presentations to management Head office of the company (in English);
- Participation in the ongoing development and maintenance of internal control procedures and processes;
- Support with external audit of Group and local reporting package (every year).
Requirements:
- Higher education (Accounting/Finance/Economics);
- Minimum 2-years relevant work experience in accounting/finance; preferably audit accounting experience;
- Demonstrates strong analytical skills with a high level of competence and proficiency in financial reporting and/or financial analysis;
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, diagrams);
- Ability to handle dynamic, fast-paced environment;
- Working knowledge of English - minimum level of intermediate mandatory;
- Responsible, self-organized, result-oriented and initiative person.
