Middle/Senior .Net Developer

Aimprosoft, a fast-growing outsourcing IT company, is looking for a Middle/Senior .Net Developer.

Our client is a Canadian company, which data-driven solutions connect post-secondary institutions and employers to support students and graduates in acquiring their first job, volunteer job, practice, and many other activities related to work. The company pioneered with the solutions providing transparency and actionable insights to higher learning and employment by digitizing, cataloging, tracking, and qualifying each student’s unique experiential learning path.

You will be primarily responsible for working with a team to develop web-based business applications in a C#/SQL Server environment. This position requires excellent software and database development skills and a solid understanding of OOP/OOD, knowledge of coding patterns, comprehensive understanding of the C# language, database design principles, client/server design principles, and experience in writing the “clean code.”

You will be responsible for:

• Developing/modifying software applications according to detailed specifications  
• Translating business requirements and/or detail designs into appropriate software application code
• Working with Jira to track open tasks, bugs, and requirements
• Attending team meetings and planning sessions to discuss requirements, status, changes, and updates

Our ideal candidate should have:

• Experience in developing business applications using C#, .Net Core 3 and above
• Experience with ASP.NET Core (MVC and Web API)
• Experience with Entity Framework Core, LINQ, Dapper
• Strong knowledge of SQL Server and T-SQL
• Experience in writing and optimizing SQL statements and stored procedures in T-SQL and LINQ
• Experience with web-related technologies: HTTP, REST, Postman, etc.
• Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• Experience with Vue.js, jQuery (moving solutions from jQuery to Vue.js)
• Experience with Azure (Blob storage, Event Hub, Azure Functions, Azure Table, Azure Service Bus)
• Experience with JSON technologies
• Experience of working in an Agile environment within the pre-defined and designed software architecture
• Experience with GitHub for source control, Git, and Jira 
• Experience with testing frameworks: NSubstitute, xUnit.net, Moq
• English level — Upper-Intermediate and higher

Nice to have:

• Experience with WCF, gRPC
• Experience with NoSQL databases: Redis, MongoDB, Apache Cassandra
• Experience with queues: Kafka, RabbitMQ
• Architecture: DDD, SOA, microservices, CQRS, Serverless
• Experience with containerization: Docker, Kubernetes
• Experience with ERP, CMS, DMS, СRM, eCommerce, or similar
• Other runtime environments: Node.js
