DevOps Engineer

We are currently seeking a contract DevOps Engineer to join our Product Team. While working alongside team members, you will be responsible for maintaining the production and internal infrastructure, CI/CD processes, monitoring of availability and accuracy. Responsibilities also include the creation of automation tools for various processes related to the development, testing, release and deployment of software. Other tasks include maintaining and optimization of the servers on AWS. The ideal individual would create new systems and processes while improving the current procedures concerning different platforms. Must have the ability to work with a dynamic, fast-paced company and meet tight deadlines.

Requirements

• 2+ years of relevant experience

• strong knowledge with solutions based on Linux systems and Cloud solutions (AWS)

• solid knowledge of web services, experience in web servers administration (Nginx, Apache)

• good experience with containerization (Docker)

• robust skills with CI/CD tools (TeamCity, Jenkins)

• experience with databases like: PostgreSQL, Oracle MySQL, DB Clustering etc

• experience with microservice architecture

• knowledge of the principles of the construction of highly loaded systems (application load balancing and scaling)

• skills in scripting languages (Bash, Python)

• solid networking knowledge (OSI network layers, TCP/IP, DNS, VPN)

• intermediate or at least pre-intermediate English

• must be a self-started, self- motivator and self-disciplined

• must take accountability and be a problem solver as well as a team player.

Will be a plus

• experience in container orchestration systems (Kubernetes, Helm)

• IaC (Terraform, Pulumi)

• experience with monitoring system (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)

• experience with configuration management systems

Responsibilities

• joint project work of Development and Operations Departments

• containerization of application stack

• operation and maintenance of production environments as well as dev environments

• help developers to debug problems

• work with CI/CD (build automation pipelines and tools to assist the engineering team in continuous and reliable integration and delivery process)

• configuration of metrics and performance monitoring

• monitor and inspect the cloud infrastructure and services and respond to issues and failures

• assistance in B2B partners integration process
