Senior/Lead Automation QA

Responsibilities:

· Take part in customer requirements analysis and understanding of new projects from the testing perspective. Identify test paradigm, automated and manual portions, acceptance criteria.

· If the test framework/approach is requested by customer, analyze the team's ability to work with it, identify and quantify risks, communicate with Business and Development teams to address the risks.

· If customer does not require a particular test approach, identify JSS own approach optimally suited for this project. Identify risks and way of addressing them.

· Lead the team in creating and executing test cases for projects.

· Supervise team's education efforts; target the goal of bringing 100% of test team to become experts in test automation. Python is a MUST. Perl, Expect, Tcl/Tk are nice to have.

· Continuously monitor the industry for new test methodologies, frameworks, tools. Update the development and Business team periodically. The input should be added to Business/Sales team presentation.

· The above should include cloud-based tools, open sources, DevOps.

· Work with the team to identify and select a set that can be presented as JSS own preferred methodology, framework, set of tools.

Requirements:

· 5+ years of Automation QA experience on commercial projects.

· Proven expertise in Python, ability to create test framework from scratch.

· Experience in testing embedded (Python) and web applications (knowledge of at least one web testing framework, REST API).

· Experience of working with Linux.

· Experience of working with global/distributed teams.

· Create detailed and well-structured test plans and test cases.

· Maintaining and contributing to the CI QA framework (Azure DevOps).

· Work in Agile environment (Scrum, Kanban).

· Ability/willingness to learn new technologies/frameworks.

· Upper-intermediate English.

Will be a plus:

· Experience in Business Analysis.

· Enterprise environment experience.

Role Description:

We're looking for Senior Automation QA Engineer, who will be involved in mentoring QA team and helping Jabil Software Services to start new projects, setting up test environments, doing requirements analysis, participating in pre-sale activities and direct communication with stakeholders and customers.
