Automation QA Engineer

Our company is looking for Automated Quality Assurance expert with experience in automated testing for continuous development / deployment environments.

As a QA Automation Engineer, you will be involved throughout the development lifecycle of the development team with responsibility in the quality assurance of software development and deployment with emphasis on development and implementation of test automation. You'll be involved in the creation of business requirements inputting the test scripts and test scenarios to ensure developers understand the business requirements so that they can be effectively tested. You will be working closely with developers as they develop code to ensure requirements are being met and to the correct quality, and you will conduct automated (and manual tests where necessary) to ensure the software created is fit for purpose. During testing you will be thinking “outside of the box” to understand the various scenarios and configurations that customers use to ensure customer quality is maintained and through doing so drive regression testing across the products. You will be responsible for defining and driving innovative automated testing strategies and toolsets into our overall development processes that support and enhance the current Quality Assurance processes.

 Responsibilities 

• Implementing the automation of software functionality
• Ensure high quality software and automated tests is delivered;
• Extend the test automation framework;
• Work within established standards within the QA organization

  Requirements 

• Experience in an Agile development environment
• 4+ years of software automation experience in web applications and platforms
• 3+ years of above experience, and/or application, system testing, or software design/development
• Experience developing and executing automated test suites based on engineering, product manager, customer specifications and release cycles
• Experience and familiarity with our technical stack:
• Java 11 (main programming language)
• SpringBoot2
• Selenide (mainly used framework)
• Feign 
• BDD development - Cucumber, Gherkin
• Lombok
• Gradle (main automation tool)
• CI/CD tool – Jenkins
• VCS - Git
• Desirable: experience with cloud solutions like BrowserStack or AWS 
• Practical experience with design and test automation patterns
• Follow test automation best practices and guidelines 
• Maintain and enhance test code
