Senior Software Engineer (Python)

We are now looking for a Senior Software Engineer to help us turn business ideas into best-in-class technology solutions that explicitly drive the product and the company towards their strategic direction.

The role is about development and maintenance of Competera Pricing Platform:

• Existing functionality improvement/optimizing
• New value streams creation through microservices delivery
• Breaking down the monolith into microservices
• Responding to incidents

Starter-kit needed to join the board: Python stack (Flask, aiohttp, AsyncIO), PostgreSQL, Redis, Apache Kafka, Ansible, REST API, OpenAPI (Swagger), Unit/Integration/Functional/etc. testing, Event-Driven Architecture (monolith breaking down experience), Docker, Kubernetes

Pleasant extras: SOLID, Software Architecture (Test-Driven Development, Domain-Driven Design, Clean Architecture), Service Mesh, noSQL Data Storages, gRPC, Site Reliability Engineering, Observability (monitoring, alerting and error reporting with Grafana, Prometheus, Sentry, OpsGenie, etc.)
