Legal Associate (Юрист)

SCHNEIDER GROUP is looking for a Legal Associate.

In 2006, our Kyiv office was opened. It successfully provides all major consulting services in Ukraine, from business creation to its large-scale development. Our office provides support to international companies in entering the Ukrainian market. SCHNEIDER GROUP advises clients in the field of doing business in the country, offers accounting outsourcing, legal and tax services, reports according to international standards, as well as personnel accounting and payroll. 

Responsibilities:  

• Organising legal support in the company in the day-to-day activity: to work with the contracts' database, maintain document flow, submit documents to state authorities, maintain IHL archive files, etc.
• Legal support of anti-money-laundering procedures
• Support of international clients on various corporate, tax, labor, commercial and compliance matters, interaction with state authorities
• Corporate law: registration, liquidation and reorganization of legal entities, corporate secretary functions, advising on various corporate matters
• Labour law: counseling on labor law matters, legal structuring of employment relations between clients and their employees, preparing various internal labor documents and policies, legal support in employment of foreigners procedures
• Migration law: legal support on various migration matters for foreign citizens, obtaining of temporary and permanent residence permits
• Contract law: preparing of various types of commercial contracts both on clients requests and in-house, developing and maintaining of internal contract templates
• Tax law: legal support of tax audits of clients, conducting tax consulting on requests of clients and company accountants, participation in transfer pricing projects
• Interim Management and Compliance: developing of the most compliant solutions for various business situations of clients, advisory on company management issues
• Participation in external and internal events promoting company services

Requirements:

• University degree (Law)
• Min. 4 years' experience in the Ukrainian and international legal and tax advisory (experience with the 'big four' is a major advantage)
• Project management experience
• Excellent knowledge of tax, commercial, labour and corporate law of Ukraine
• Knowledge of accounting processes and procedures would be a plus
• Advanced English level, particularly in legal, tax and finance terminology; German would be a plus
• Decency, good organization, the ability to work in stress conditions and strict deadlines.
