This role will support one of the Sales Leaders in the US West Coast region with sales support and administration activities. The candidate will work as part of a sales team that includes the Sales Leader and a Sales Development Representative, and the primary goal of the team is to acquire new clients, expand existing clients and achieve revenue targets. The Sales Assistant will support these objectives by taking on administrative tasks currently done by the Sales Leader.

MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Under direction of Sales Leader, ensure Salesforce is kept up-to-date:  

  • Fields tracked for the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are populated/updated
  • Opportunity fields are kept current (ie close dates & probabilities, etc  
  • Account and Contact fields for Prospects and Clients are correctly populated and updated as needed  
  • Ensure correct Account and Contact ownership

Client Gifts  

  • Order, track, and confirm receipt

Expenses  

  • Manage the Sales Leaders’ expense reports

Scheduling  

  • Assist with scheduling meetings for the Sales Leader (internal and external)

Meeting Notes and Communication  

  • Format/’clean up’ Sales Leader’s meeting notes and post in Salesforce  
  • Log relevant client communications from various channels in Salesforce

Client Proposals  

  • Under the Sales Leader’s direction, update powerpoint slides for Client proposals 

Budget Estimates  

  • As needed for some Clients, support the Sales Leader with monthly billing estimates and budgeting

Documentation Tracking and Storage  

  • Ensure all relevant Prospect and Client related documents are filed correctly

LinkedIn  

  • Maintain the Sales Leader’s lead lists in LinkedIn Sales Navigator
