Mechanical Engineer (Autodesk Inventor)

We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer, working in Lviv, Ukraine. The candidate must be willing to travel to the EU (short trips for consultations).

The format is that EU company provides a 3D design of the apparatus/component together with a description of functions. Based upon this and EU/internal company’s standards the employee is going to make detailed drawings and manufacturing documentation/drawings plus descriptions in close collaboration with the EU team.

The focus candidates have a background as mechanical engineer, experience in designing/construction mechanical apparatus/applications/machine elements and, preferably, strong understanding of hygienic requirements and standards (including Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) standards), especially in dairy sector.

Profile

Key requirements

B. Sc./M. Sc. in Mechanical Engineering

5+ years’ experience in mechanical engineering

Experienced user of Autodesk Inventor (versions starting from 2018 and later)

Experience in designing stainless steel equipment for the food and beverages industry

Excellent user of CAD

Must be systematic and with “an eye” for details

Good communication skills

English – Intermediate / B1 or above

Willing to work in the EU 2-3 weeks at a time

Working in close relation with EU mechanical engineers, automation department and workshops

Availability of biometric international passport

Advantage if:

Strong understanding of hygienic requirements and standards (including Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) standards) is a big advantage

Experience in designing stainless steel equipment for the dairy sector

Experience using Autodesk Vault

Experience with FEM analyses

Experience with stress calculations
