IT Officer (with the focus on IT operations)

For ING Bank in Kyiv we are looking for an experienced IT Officer (with the focus on IT operations), who will be responsible for ensuring availability and proper operation of the local IT operations, including regulatory required software (e.g. ARM-SEP, ARM-INF, etc.) local core banking system B2 and ING's specific ones.

MAIN TASKS AND ACTIVITIES:

• Develops and maintains operating procedures required for implementation, support and use of the new and existing systems.
• Maintains the log of incidents, problems and solutions.
• Co-operates with Head Office regarding implementation of Branch Model systems and hardware.
• Executes the implementation and migration of business and IT related software.
• Ensures proper operation and maintenance of IT operations; executes implementation and migration to the new hardware and software.
• Execute local core banking system B2 end of day processing.
• Performs routine 1st line support for local core banking system B2.
• Performs troubleshooting of found problems related to the IT operations software.
• Ensures BCP for Business and IT systems is available, adequate and up to date.
• Prepares and executes system tests, ensures they are properly executed, and user acceptance received.
• Executes functions of IT Service Desk support officer, provides support and training for the staff of the bank, resolves IT infrastructure and IT infra software related problems.

Desired Skills & Experience

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Higher Technical/IT education.
• Work experience at least 2 years in IT area.
• Experience in providing support to the end users, experience of participating in IT projects.
• Good understanding of ITIL processes, practical experience in service level management, readiness for change and transformation.
• Ability to resolve and troubleshoot problems related to business and IT software.
• Understanding of business continuity principles.
• Upper-intermediate level of English (verbal and oral), fluent or native speaker in Ukrainian.
