QA Engineer

We are looking for a QA Engineer to join our professional team, to contribute his/her experience in manual testing, as well as gain new skills in automated testing.

Project:

An insurance company, located in the USA, needs a CRM system, that will help insurance agents to manage their daily routine faster and easier. The project is now in an active phase of development and we need to make our team stronger by adding a skillful QA.

Project tech stack:

• Ruby (Ruby on Rails)

• JavaScript (React)

Responsibilities:

• Participate in the scrum-team, execute user-stories testing

• Run regression tests

• Write test cases (using manual testing techniques), estimate testing efforts

• Use Gitlab to manage Development tasks and bugs

Essential Skills:

• Theoretical background in software testing

• Basic SDLC and STLC understanding

• Ability to write good bug reports and test cases

• Understanding of Agile / Scrum processes

• Excellent attention to details

• Good communication skills and good English (at least intermediate level)

• Being a good team player

• English upper intermediate

As a plus Skills:

• Basic knowledge of any programming language (Ruby ideally), OOP principles

• Experience running, writing and maintaining automated tests

• Basic knowledge of API

• Understanding high-quality UI&UX for web and mobile apps
