Node JS Developer

We are looking for a Node JS Developer to work on a major project for a (US Based) international client. As an Experienced Node JS Developer, you will be responsible for managing the interchange of data between the server and the users. Your primary role will be the development of all server-side logic, definition and maintenance of the central database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end. You will also be responsible for developing the front-end elements as per the design provided from your co-workers into the application. Therefore, experience with front-end technologies is required as well.

Responsibilities:

· Implement software components according to the design specifications.

· Design and implementation of low-latency, high-availability, and performance cloud-based applications.

· Implementation of security and data protection

· Participate in estimating project efforts and delivery timelines

· Work in a high-speed, agile environment to ship features in the shortest time possible

· Deliver quality code by applying the best development practices 

· Develop and execute unit, functional, integration testing of developed software components 

· Take part in Configuration Management, Continuous Integration implementation. 

· Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system using APIs with POST & GET requests.

· Proactively collaborate with teammates and communicate with project stakeholders to ensure project efforts are proceed efficiently and with predictability.

Required Skills:

• Solid Web-Development experience. 
• Strong experience in Node.js Knowledge of Node.js and frameworks available for it such as Express, StrongLoop, etc.
• Strong Experience with API development 
• Experience with Swagger (documentation generation, quick API testing) 
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools & GIT flow (pull requests, branches etc) 
• Strong experience with PostgreSQL database
• Knowledge of vue js, PostgreSQL DB, nginx webserver, Rancher, Docker, and Linux.
• Understanding of middleware in application architecture.
• Understanding of Sockets & Node.js pipes Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes
• Understanding differences between multiple delivery platforms, such as mobile vs. desktop, and optimizing output to match the specific platform
• Upper-intermediate English or above.
• Experience with testing tools for unit & integration testing with cypress IO, Selenium or any other testing tool.

Nice to have Skills:

• Experience with distributed systems and data analysis 
• Experience & understanding of Azur Cloud.
• (PHP, Angular JS) Experience with MongoDB & Mongoose, Map-Reduce, other aggregations 
• Natural curiosity to find creative and effective solutions for complex problems 
• Experience with Mobile development.

The Ideal candidate is a senior Node JS developer with a proven experience in developing large scale cloud-based web applications utilizing these tools and technologies (Azur Cloud, Azur PostgreSQL DB, vue.js, nginx, rancher, GIT and IOS development) with knowledge in (Laravel PHP, Angular JS, HTML5, CCS3, MySQL DB and AWS )
